Interviewer: Can you introduce yourself and tell us what you do at Caudill Supply?
Caudill Supply (Breone): I’m Breone Buswell, an owner at Caudill Supply. I focus on customer service, so I’m the one people talk to when they call to place an order, pay a bill, or book a delivery. I like knowing our clients personally—it’s more than just business.
Interviewer: How does it feel stepping into a business with such a long history?
Caudill Supply: It’s inspiring and humbling. The previous owner worked for over 40 years to build trust with property managers and contractors. We don’t take that lightly. I want to keep the same level of care and attention while bringing in modern tools like online ordering and instant messaging.
Interviewer: What makes Caudill Supply different for customers?
Caudill Supply: Honestly, it’s the relationships. People aren’t just orders to us—they’re individuals we know. Some we’ve seen for decades, others we’re just meeting, but every interaction matters. I’ll go the extra mile, whether it’s tracking down a rare part or personally delivering an item to make sure a project stays on schedule.
Interviewer: Can you share a story where you went above and beyond for a customer?
Caudill Supply: One time, a client in Cocoa, Florida, needed a replacement motor urgently. The supplier was hours away. I grabbed it, hired a courier, and made sure it got there the same day. We ate the cost, but it kept their project on track. Moments like that show why we do what we do.
Interviewer: How do you build long-term relationships with customers?
Caudill Supply: By becoming friends. We go to dinners, help promote their businesses, and even celebrate milestones together. That trust is the foundation of everything we do.
