Interviewer: Can you tell me your name and your role at Caudill Supply?
Caudill Supply: My name is Brian Buswell. I’m one of the owners, and I handle the day-to-day operations.
Interviewer: What does that day-to-day look like?
Caudill Supply: Customer relations, invoicing, special orders, inventory, phones, billing—everything.
Interviewer: What’s the story behind how the business took shape?
Caudill Supply: The original owner was a maintenance man for multifamily complexes and saw a void. He wanted one place where people could source what they needed without big accounts or credit checks, serving both the public and contractors.
Interviewer: What advantages do contractors get from having everything under one roof?
Caudill Supply: It saves time. They can call ahead, confirm availability, and pick everything up at once.
Interviewer: How does being locally owned change how you serve customers?
Caudill Supply: We don’t have to send anything to corporate. We can give answers quickly and solve problems faster.
Interviewer: How do you handle uncommon or hard-to-source requests?
Caudill Supply: We gather all the information, find where it’s stocked, how fast we can get it, and usually respond within two hours. Special orders are typically in within three days.
Interviewer: What does hands-on service mean to you?
Caudill Supply: Treating everyone the same, every day, with the same level of care and attention.
