Caudill-Supply-Troy and Breone

Interviewer: Can you introduce yourself and your role at Caudill Supply?

Caudill Supply: My name is Troy Buswell. My wife and I are the owners of Caudill Supply in Jacksonville, Florida. We cater to HVAC contractors, apartment managers, real estate developers, and anyone in the renovation space, with a heavy focus on HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and appliance parts.

Interviewer: How did Caudill Supply originally start?

Caudill Supply: The business was started by Eugene and Iris Caudill. Eugene worked in maintenance for apartment complexes and saw an opportunity to support the local community by providing good service. They started the business forty years ago, and it’s been running successfully ever since.

Interviewer: You carry the Trane RunTru line. What makes it a strong option?

Caudill Supply: I worked for Trane Corporate and saw an opportunity to bring the RunTru brand to the customers we work with. It’s a strong value and fits the needs of our market.

Interviewer: What separates Caudill Supply from other supply houses?

Caudill Supply: We’re a single-location, mom-and-pop operation. You’re dealing with the owners, and we can make decisions immediately. Phones get answered quickly, and that makes a big difference, especially during peak seasons.

Interviewer: Who is your core customer?

Caudill Supply: Anyone with HVAC equipment that needs repair or replacement, apartment managers with plumbing issues, or electrical contractors who need parts. Most find us through Google or word of mouth.

Interviewer: What does a typical day look like inside the store?

Caudill Supply: We focus on speed and service. We want customers in and out so they can get back to work quickly with the right products.
