Interviewer: First things first, do you want to start by telling me your first and last name and what you do?
Island Heating and Air Conditioning: My name is Billy, and I own Island Heating and Air Conditioning.
Interviewer: What’s your relationship with Caudill?
Island Heating and Air Conditioning: I’ve been doing business with them for a few decades now. I started doing business with them while working for other companies over the years, and here we are today.
Interviewer: So you come here for AC units and HVAC supplies?
Island Heating and Air Conditioning: Yes.
Interviewer: How’s that experience from start to finish when you’re dealing with them?
Island Heating and Air Conditioning: Very good communication skills among everybody in the store. When I go to deal with someone, someone’s already spoken to the other person, and they know what’s going on when I show up, which is nice.
Interviewer: How often are you coming up here?
Island Heating and Air Conditioning: A few times a week.
Interviewer: Can you name some of the products you’re mostly coming up here for, and what that turnaround time looks like?
Island Heating and Air Conditioning: Usually run-through HVAC systems.
Interviewer: From the time you call to when you come up here, what’s the turnaround time?
Island Heating and Air Conditioning: I can usually call and say I’m on the way, drive from the beach, and it’s already ready. By the time I’m pulling up, they already have the gate open and are ready to load my truck. Getting in and out fast is key in this business.
Interviewer: Would you recommend Caudill to anyone else?
Island Heating and Air Conditioning: Absolutely! They’re more of a family-owned business. You’re not dealing with a big private equity company where you become just a number. You get better service here, and it’s worth it.
